Vietnamese Egg Coffee
The coffee, strong and intense, forms the perfect base for the sweet and airy egg foam, which is made from egg yolks, sugar, and often a dash of vanilla or rum. A must-try for all coffee lovers looking for something new and exciting.
Ingredients:
2 espressos
2 egg yolks
Depending on your taste, 4–6 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk
Optional: ½ tablespoon of vanilla or a splash of good cognac
Preparation:
Coffee Preparation: Depending on your taste, prepare 2 espressos and pour them into a larger cup.
Egg yolk: Pour the condensed milk and egg yolks into a bowl. Whisk the mixture well with a whisk until you achieve a thick, foamy consistency.
Pour this egg foam onto the fresh coffee using a spoon. And just like that, the CÀ PHÊ TRỨNG is ready.
Enjoy the coffee as you sip through the creamy egg layer.
