Hot Chestnut Mocha
When the leaves are dancing outside and the air smells like rain, this mocha is just what you need. A velvety blend of espresso, dark chocolate, hot milk, and a dash of chestnut purée: creamy, nutty, and incredibly cozy. A drink that feels like a warm blanket for the soul. And yes, it’s perfectly fine to munch on a chestnut while you drink it.
Ingredients
1 double espresso
150 ml milk or oat milk
1 tablespoon chestnut purée (unsweetened or lightly sweetened)
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon cane sugar or honey
Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
Preparation
Set the espresso aside.
Heat the milk with the chestnut purée, cocoa powder, and sugar until the mixture is nice and creamy.
Whip it into a foam using a small whisk or milk frother.
Pour the espresso into the cup, then add the chestnut milk.
Top it off with cream and chocolate shavings. Your cozy coffee is ready!
