Berry Cold Brew
Who doesn't love them—fresh berries straight from the bush or the store? Simply deliciously fruity. This drink is a summery burst of flavor. The combination of rich coffee and the juicy flavors of strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries makes this cold brew a refreshing drink.
Ingredients
1 liter of cold water
100 g coarsely ground coffee
A handful of mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, Vitalberries, currants—just your favorite berries and the ones that are ripe.)
fresh mint and a little lime juice, or a few drops of fresh lemon juice, to taste
Preparation
How to Make Cold Brew: Mix coarsely ground coffee with cold water.
Add berries: Add a handful of your favorite berries.
Let it steep: Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for 12–24 hours.
Filter: Strain the cold brew through a fine sieve or a coffee filter.
Serving: Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the berry cold brew over them. If desired, garnish the drink with fresh berries and a few mint leaves, and add a few drops of lemon juice. Or lime syrup.
