Espresso Martini

Cocktail Magic with a Kick.

Strictly speaking, the Espresso Martini isn't actually a "Martini" at all, but a cocktail made with coffee, vodka, and Kahlúa. It's super easy and quick to make.

Mix it, shake it, drink it!

Espresso Martini

Mix your masterpiece.

It's so simple, so captivating, and has such a beautiful story behind it.

Legend has it that the Espresso Martini was created in 1983 at the "Soho Brasserie" in London. Bartender Dick Bradsell initially called the drink he prepared for a model the "Vodka Espresso." and made it with vodka, sugar, coffee liqueur, and espresso. The model asked the bartender to make her a cocktail with coffee.

Here it is! The birth of the Espresso Martini.

Enjoy it to the fullest—sip by sip!

Ingredients:
  • 30 ml espresso (fresh and strong)

  • 50 ml vodka

  • 15 ml coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)

  • Ice cubes

  • Optional: a few coffee beans for decoration

Preparation:
  1. Espresso: First, you'll need a strong, hot espresso. It's the perfect base for your cocktail—so make sure it's really good!

  2. Mix it: Fill your shaker with ice cubes. Add the fresh espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur. Now comes the exciting part: Shake everything vigorously! About 15 seconds should be enough to get the drink nice and cold and frothy.

  3. Final: Pour the drink into a chilled martini glass. The foam should settle nicely on top—a sign that you've done everything right!

  4. Decoration: For the finishing touch, place a few coffee beans on top of the foam. Not only does it look great, but it also smells fantastic.

Sit back and enjoy your espresso martini with friends.

Cheers!
