Iced Caramel Macchiato
The Iced Caramel Macchiato is more than just a drink—it’s a perfect symphony of flavor and aroma. It starts with brewing a strong, aromatic espresso, which forms the base of the drink.
Here's what you'll need:
Espresso (one full cup or half a cup, depending on desired strength)
2–3 tablespoons of caramel sauce (here, too, you can adjust the amount to your liking)
150–200 ml milk (depending on your preference, you can also use almond, soy, or oat milk)
A handful of ice cubes
Optional: whipped cream
Here's how it works:
First, make 1 or 2 cups of espresso so it has time to cool slightly
Fill the glass halfway with ice and pour the caramel sauce over it.
Pour the milk over the ice cream and the caramel sauce
Now carefully pour the espresso over the milk. This creates a nice layered effect.
If you'd like, you can now add the whipped cream and gently drizzle some caramel sauce over the top for a nice presentation.
Serve and enjoy.
